California College Degree
California colleges offering degree in nearly every possible area of employment are listed below. These are accredited schools located in California or offering online classes and in some cases such as the University of Phoenix shown below you can get both. It is called their flex plan (ask their guidance counselors about it). City locations are provided unless the college has too many to list in which case there is likely one near you.
In today’s economy it is especially important to have something more going for you than the next guy and that is best accomplished by having a better education than your competition. For most working adults this is not easily accomplished since they can’t just take time off earning an income to go back to school.
The legitimization of getting a college degree online has now made it more possible than ever before for a working mom or dad to continue their education which means the pursuit of a better life is always just a desire away and not a distant dream that stays tauntingly just out of reach or over the horizon.
The truly great thing about getting a California recognized college degree from an online school is that it is so readily available to those who are willing to work for it. Keep in mind that it is likely you will only get one government grant and a limited number of school loans which boils down to you’re getting one chance at this so please make the best of it.
Accelerated Courses for California
There is a saying it is not the size of the dog in a fight but rather the size of the fight in the dog and that is never more clearly proven true than when speaking of online education. Passion and desire may be the defining difference between successfully achieving your degree or failing. Remember that the normal expected time length for gaining a degree whether that degree takes one year to obtain or one that takes four years is a time period figured with no other responsibilities other than to be done with the education. So to take an accelerated course while working a full time job is not a very realistic approach to earning a degree. If anything those working a full time job should be seeking a slower paced college course but most find the accelerated courses the more attractive. Whether you choose to earn your California college degree at a campus or on line if you take an accelerated course then expect less help from teachers and you should anticipate the worst case scenarios such as having to find your own resources instead of relying on the college’s promise. A great example would be if the college says they find employment for 95% of the graduates, expect to be in the 5% that do not get placed meaning you will have to find an entry job on your own merit but armed with a legitimate degree.
Internships in California
If your chosen degree requires an internship that unless the college promises a 100% guarantee they will find you somewhere to intern that you will fall into the category of one of those who must find a place themselves. I write this because I have seen some complaints that some of the schools are not providing the places to intern like they promised. It is impossible to know if these are legitimate concerns or just sour grapes from former students who didn’t heed the above warnings and now are faced with paying back their student loans on the same salary as they had before they took out the loans but I felt it worth noting so that you the student do not go into this blindly. I truly want to help you find your way to a better life and as such am not trying to just sell you on going to college so that I can earn my commission and move on.
Student Loans in California
When such big money stakes are involved as tuition it is a good idea to stop and really think through all that is going to be happening during that time of your education. Can you really juggle your current responsibilities and take on an accelerated course with reasonable expectations of passing the classes? If you had to stop and consider then perhaps it would be the wiser move to take an extra year if necessary … and be sure you’ll pass the courses.
